Ms. Jackie Aneno Obol - Ochola

Jackie Ochola is a Ugandan technology enthusiast and Business Leader. She holds a BSc. Electrical Engineering from Makerere University Kampala, a Master of Communications Management from Coventry University UK and is a certified Project Management Professional, a certified Company Director and a corporate member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers.
She has served in executive management and on the board of directors for corporate and startup organizations in the telecoms, banking and tech space. She is currently the General Manager at Wave Mobile Money Uganda, and she lives in Kampala
The National Information Technology Authority – Uganda (NITA-U) is the government agency mandated to coordinate, promote and monitor information technology development in Uganda, in line with national social and economic goals. We run the National Backbone Infrastructure, the National Data Centre, UGPass and UGHub, certify IT service providers, and host the Personal Data Protection Office.
