Ms. Rhoda Regina Kimera
Director Finance & Administration
Ms. Regina Kimera is the Director, Finance and Administration overseeing the Procurement, Finance, HR and Administration functions.
Rhoda is a qualified finance and Accounting professional with over 10 years work experience which spans a cross the public sector, financial services and audit/advisory services. Before NITA-U Regina worked with Ernst and Young where she was Associate Director Finance in charge of Finance, IT , HR, Procurement and Administration within the East African Region.
She holds a masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot watt University UK. She is a fellow of the association of chattered certified Accountants UK (FCCA) and a member of public Accountants of Uganda (CPA) . She holds a Bachelors of commerce Degree in Accounting (B.COM) from Makerere University, she is a pioneer graduate of the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Leadership Academy with MAT/Abacus Business School.
The National Information Technology Authority – Uganda (NITA-U) is the government agency mandated to coordinate, promote and monitor information technology development in Uganda, in line with national social and economic goals. We run the National Backbone Infrastructure, the National Data Centre, UGPass and UGHub, certify IT service providers, and host the Personal Data Protection Office.
