Drop-offs
A drop-off is the connection point where the main network line terminates and your office, building or device joins the network. NITA-U installs and manages dedicated drop-offs so that individual users, sites and equipment get efficient, reliable connectivity onto the National Backbone Infrastructure without each entity having to build its own last-mile link.
What is included
- Survey of the site and the nearest available termination point
- Installation of the drop-off and terminating equipment
- Connection onto the National Backbone Infrastructure
- Ongoing monitoring and fault resolution by the NITA-U service desk
Who it is for
Ministries, Departments, Agencies and Local Governments that need connectivity extended to a specific site, office or device.
